It’s been another spectacular season here at Top Notch Inn!
Amazing folks have come from all over the world to visit us in the White Mountains this year, and it was a pleasure meeting them and hearing some of their stories.
Every year, when school lets out, hundreds of families come to the north country every year to go to popular attractions such as Storyland and Santa’s Village. This has become a multi-generational tradition for many families year after year, and we love to have them stay with us while they create memories they’ll have forever.
In June, we hosted our 2nd annual Art & Libation event to benefit the Coos County Botanical Garden Club. This fun event brings artists, gardeners & friends together to share their passion and work and is open to the public. Many local artists showed off their work.
June also brings hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts to New Hampshire for the annual Laconia Bike Weekend, the oldest motorcycle rally in the world.
Most noticeably, we’ve installed a beautiful new sign here at Top Notch, featuring our new logo. It is held up by two 20 foot granite pillars quarried right here in New England for us. We’re very proud of the result and our new look.
Gorham is proud to have the largest 4th of July celebration in New Hampshire featuring live entertainment, food, rides and fireworks. 5 days of family fun and entertainment. This year we celebrated Gorham’s 180th Anniversary.
The Mt. Washington Auto Road, the oldest man-made attraction in the US, has attracted thousands of people to its famous assent. This great venue has many special events throughout the season, including the Ride to the Sky motorcycle drive, the Minis on Top MINI cooper drive, NH ATV Day, Sunday Sunrise Drives, The Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb and the Mt. Washington Road Race.
Our local Jericho State Park hosted 2 major ATV festivals this year. The Jericho ATV Festival and, new this year, the Polaris Camp RZR. These 2 events along with an increasing community of ATV enthusiasts have brought thousands of people to our trails and towns for the season.
As a fitting end to a great season, we’ve had some of the most spectacular fall foliage in recent memory, highlighted by our annual Mountain Bike Weekend. A
celebration of all things Mountain Bike, guided rides, food and entertainment, this is an excellent event for bikers of all levels.
From all of us here at Top Notch Inn, thank you for one of our most impressive years yet. We hope to see you all again in 2017.
